We are part of God's Church around the world.
Trinity is proud to be a congregation of the Virginia Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. As Lutherans, we see ourselves as part of God's one Church on earth, or in the words of the creed, the "one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church."
That means we're not all alone. We do ministry with and through partners around the corner and across the globe. For instance, our ELCA raised $15 million over the last few years to combat malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. We partner with other congregations locally to support People Helping People and Faith in Action. Our younger ones attend the outstanding Virginia Synod youth events where they connect with their peers and have a blast. We can't do any of this on our own.
Here are some of the most significant ways we engage with the wider church:
ELCA World Hunger
Massanutten Presbyterian food pantry
People Helping People
Faith in Action
